KeyMaaS Pty Ltd (“KeyMaaS”) is committed to ensuring the privacy of all users’ (“Users”) information. We respect and protect your privacy.
Application
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information submitted by Users on the KMaaS Portal (the “Portal”) & any mobile applications (“App”) or emailed to KeyMaaS, and any information that may be automatically retrieved through the services that KeyMaaS offers on the Portal or any mobile applications (“Services”). Any person that utilises the Services in a manner without creating an account shall be deemed a “Visitor” until such time as they create an account with KeyMaaS and become a User.
Consent
By accessing the Portal and/or using the Services, all Users and Visitors consent to the collection, use, disclosure, storage and processing of their information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Changes to Privacy Policy
KeyMaaS may amend or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, with or without notice to Users or Visitors. All Users & Visitors agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy that is in effect at the time they access the Portal and/or use the Services.
Personal information
In order to use the Services, all Users & Visitors will need to submit certain personal information such as their email address, name, address, mobile telephone number, employer. Users may be asked to submit further information from time to time. By providing us with your Personal Information, you consent to us collecting, holding, using and disclosing your Personal Information and your Visitor’s Personal information (including holding by, using by and disclosure to any third party services we use to make our Services function).
Non-personal information
We may also collect, hold, use and disclose information about you that is not necessarily personal information including, but not limited to:
data relating to your activity on our portal via tracking technologies such as analytic, cookie and session tools, which data can include:
the identity of your internet browser;
the type of operating system you use;
your IP address;
the domain name of your internet service provider;
the pages accessed on our site; and
the next site visited; and
We may use this non-personal information for internal purposes including, administering our services, diagnosing problems, generating statistics and trends and improving the quality of our products and services
Use of information and data
The personal information that Users & Visitors provide will only be used in connection with the Services offered by KeyMaaS, to communicate with Users in relation to the Services or to cooperate with any government, industry or regulatory authorities. KeyMaaS will not disclose any information regarding the details of any User attending a site which is registered on the Service. KeyMaaS from time to time may contact a User (but not a Visitor) for account support purposes.
Disclosure of information
Unless expressly authorised to do so by the relevant user, KeyMaaS will not disclose any User’s or Visitor’s personal information to any third party except where the disclosure relates to the purposes for which the information was collected (as stated above).
Security
KeyMaaS takes reasonable steps to protect the personal data provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email or input into our Services. Please ask us for a copy of our Security and Hosting Policy.
Access to and updates of information
Users may request at any time to see the personal information that KeyMaaS holds on its behalf (to the extent that Users are unable to do so on the KeyMaaS service by viewing they own visitation data themselves). Please email KeyMaaS at [email protected]
Storage of information
Users of the Service shall have their data hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Sydney region). Further, Users of our Services are solely responsible for establishing policies for and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as all privacy policies, agreements or other obligations, relating to the collection of personal information in connection with the use of our Services by individuals or Visitors with whom our Users interact.
Retention
KeyMaaS may hold User & Visitor personal information both before and after the cancellation of each User account, but only for as long as KeyMaaS is lawfully entitled to do so. We may be legally required to maintain some of your Personal Information for a significant period of time, however once we no longer need your Personal Information, subject to any legal requirement; we will take such steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to destroy the information or ensure that the information is de-identified.
Business transfers
We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Also, if we (or substantially all of our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information would be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

If you wish to make a complaint to us about how we have handled your Personal Information please do so in writing addressed to our Operations Manager. If you need help lodging a complaint, please feel free to contact us. We take all complaints seriously, and will respond to your complaint within a reasonable period. We will determine what (if any) action we should take to resolve the complaint. If we decide that a complaint should be investigated further, the complaint will usually be handled by a more senior officer than the officer whose actions you are complaining about.
